The City of Vance is actively seeking commercial growth. The Alabama Department of Transportation has recently completed widening Highway 11 to 4 lanes. The Vance Council voted to expand the sewer system which was completed prior to the highway expansion to accommodate the explosion of growth in this area.
 
Mercedes Benz and its suppliers are less than 10 minutes away from this area and they need somewhere to buy their groceries, a restaurant to take their family to eat, fast food for folks on the go, service stations to serve everyone’s daily needs…etc.  Right now, is an opportunity of a lifetime for developers and real estate agents because many homeowners are having to abandon their homes for the expansion but are willing to sell their remaining properties at a reasonable commercial price.
